and what do I have planned…..?
February is here and although most of the garden is still asleep the bulbs are starting to poke through the ground and I have snowdrops and cyclamen in flower.
I’ve decided to put some raised beds in to grow veg, soft fruit and have a couple as nursery beds. Around the field boundary I have planted a natural hedge with dog woods, forcythia (from rooted cuttings) spirea, lilac in time it with thicken up to provide nesting for birds and a bit of a wind break for the raised beds.

I am not opening for the NGS this year it was very enjoyable last year but due to circumstances out of my control the opportunity to open to the public in the future is on hold but will keep my blog & social media updated should the situation change.
I have had several days in the garden with my feline helper Jasmine.
