It’s Spring bulb planting time of year……. not wanting to wish away 2016 but I’ve been busy planting 160 mixed daffodil bulbs in the lawn of the west facing ‘Sunset garden’ that looks out onto open fields… I did the same last autumn and what a display I had this spring to next year will be lovely. As the rest of the garden will not have woken up by the time the bulbs are flowering it will add lovely spring colour taking your eyes around the gardens.
I Love alliums so have also planted more and also some English bluebells, crocus and one of my early favourite iris renticulata.
